ABOUT

Pavalis Architekton is a Tampa Bay based architecture studio specializing in Healthcare design, from renovations to stand alone facilities.  We provide one to one service on each project.  Our founder, Andrew Z Pavalis, embraces the philosophy of providing both expertise and exceptional service to each client for the entire project.  Larger firms distribute the workload among a variety of support staff with a variety of skill sets, often resulting in miscommunication and expensive change orders.  Andrew “owns” each aspect of each project.  This allows for a happier client experience, and higher satisfaction with the completed project.

Andrew Z. Pavalis founded Pavalis Architekton during the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic in July 2020.  Andrew has worked for and with Architecture Firms throughout the United States, developing skill at connecting with clients and users, contributing to numerous successful projects.

Andrew Z. Pavalis is a graduate of Kansas State University.  His career began in New York City, working on various Healthcare renovations, including a MRI Suite at Lincoln Hospital in the Bronx and a Cardiac Lab at Harlem Hospital.  Subsequently, he took a position in Denver, CO, with the  award winning Architecture Firm, Tryba Architects.  His largest project in Denver was the renovation to the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. He relocated to Tarpon Springs in 2007, working for Oliveri Architects and Graham Design Associates, which was acquired by the Lunz Group during Andrew’s tenure.  He worked on multiple Healthcare projects including renovations and ground up facilities for Florida Medical Clinic, Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, Watson Clinic, US Dept of Veterans Affairs and Florida Hospital.  During this time he was privileged to work with the renowned architect, Jim Graham, who has completed more Cancer Design related projects than any other Architect in the State of Florida.   Andrew held the position of Studio Director and a Board Member of The Lunz Group for 3 years prior to starting his own firm.

Currently, Andrew is an executive board member of the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce and a member of the Dunedin Waterside Rotary Club.  He also serves on the Dunedin Architectural Review Committee, which reviews the design of any proposed building projects in the City of Dunedin.
